Many of the men who come to us have tried to stop before, on their own or in other programs. When it does not last, it is easy to believe you are the problem, that treatment works for other people but not for someone like you. That is not true. Addiction is a medical condition, not a personal failure, and needing help does not make you weak.

Most programs that do not work make the same mistakes. They treat the drinking or the drug use and ignore the anxiety, depression, or trauma underneath it. They run every man through the same schedule. They move you between facilities and hand you to a new team right when you are most fragile. The Palms Recovery is built differently.

Treatment Programs

You Get the Right Level of Care, and You Never Start Over

Recovery is not one-size-fits-all, and where you start depends on where you are right now. At The Palms Recovery, you move through every level of care without switching facilities or starting over with a new team. The people who know your story at the beginning are the people beside you at the end. Here is what each level gives you.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Our most structured level of care, with full treatment days for men who need strong support while they build a foundation, then a safe place to rest at night.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

A step down that keeps real support in place while you take on more of your life. Several sessions a week, built around work and family.

Outpatient Program (OP)

Flexible, ongoing care for men who are steady in recovery and want to protect it, so you stay connected as you settle back into everyday life.

Outpatient Detox

Medically supervised withdrawal management, so you get through the early days safely with a clinical team watching over you.

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)

Approved medication used alongside therapy to ease cravings and steady early recovery, always as one part of a complete plan.

Sober Living

A safe and structured home with other men in recovery, so you have stable ground to practice sober living while you are still connected to treatment.

The other guys there were super cool, great group of dudes just trying to get better. It's an all men's facility which was ideal, no distractions for myself and the guys around me. Tom and Rick were absolute dawgs on second shift, those dudes get shit done and need a raise ASAP. Overall I'm glad I went and would recommend it to any man struggling with being unable to put down the bottle or pipe.

The owners, Jim and Vicky, are very hands on and involved which you don’t see often at a facility like this! The staff are outstanding! Just to name a few, the case manager Crystal will go the extra mile for you any day of the week, Chris who we call the man of the people would give u the shirt off his back and often comes to housing and just talks and chills and helps on a real personal level, Dana the director is a straight boss and runs a tight but fun shift, Matt the director of operations has been in our foot steps like a lot of staff here and really shows what rewards sobriety can have in store, Austin , just one of the great therapists, is approachable and friendly but also digs when you need him to, and Rob, one of the many techs, is another example of what hard work and dedication in this field can hold on store! All aspects of the palms come together nicely and encompass one great facility! And I think the best sticking point to leave you with is the brotherhood we have here. It is unlike any other I have seen and I have been to many facilities. It is welcoming, fosters healthy relationships and bonds, and is relaxing and comforting! All around I would recommend the Palms to anyone looking for help in addiction or mental health!

Completely supportive, address any concerns immediately and will treat each person situation differently. If a rule is hindering your growth (i.e. a curfew or some restriction) they will work with you to make sure you still accomplish your goal in a safe manner. Every employee is willing to take the time to sit and talk with you regardless of their roll. When I came in I had no idea this was an all male facility, but that was exactly what I needed. With church, the beach, going to the gym, movies, Everglades and many other activities I never found myself feeling stuck or in my head.

The experiences I created there and the relationships that I built over my time of being there have made a huge impact on my life. Between having productive meetings in clinical, to all the extra curricular activities such as kayaking, going to the beach, and more made me feel like I was more than just at a rehabilitation center, it made me feel like I am working on my myself , while being shown that all of these amazing things can be done without being under the influence of any substance.
